5 years ago on Halloween a girl by the name of Amaya died in County Cork, Ireland. She commited suicide. Her reasoning for this was somewhat understandable. She never had any parents that she knew and she lived on the streets until I found her. I hid her in my house, giving her food and looking after her. Everyone else used to think she was just my imaginary friend so I kept it that way.
We lived like sisters for 2 years. She spent almost everyday outside alone where she had to watch my parents look after me. She lived like a shadow and knew if I was gone she'd have no one. One day when I came home from school she was gone. Only hours later did I discover her note telling me she had jumped off a bridge and I found out she had died.
I never told my family and this is the first time I have ever made this event public.
